Cardozo students in action: Human Rights and Atrocity Prevention Clinic students, along with Professors Getgen Kestenbaum and Rona, traveled to Brazil to better understand the human rights concerns related to private militias, as well as private military and security contractors. The team spoke with more than 100 civil society leaders. Their findings will be shared with UN human rights special procedures experts, including the UN Working Group on Mercenaries.
Cardozo is thankful for the generous gift from the Class of 2018. Special thanks to Class Gift Committee Co-chairs Lekha Menon, Julia Cagin and Jessica Goudreault for their hard work.
